Referral Contest Basics and GuidelinesPlease read ALL of the following as everything regarding the referral contest is covered:
Each month there will be a
Referral Contest, starting on the first day of the month and ending on the last day of the month.
The members with the ten highest scores for each week will be declared as the winners. 1st place will receive $50 and 60 Game Credits, 2nd place will receive $25 and 35 Game Credits, 3rd place will receive $10 and 15 Game Credits, 4th place will receive $6 and 8 Game Credits, 5th and 6th place will each receive $3 and 6 Game Credits, 7th and 8th place will each receive $2 and 4 Game Credits, and 9th and 10th place will each receive $1 and 2 Game Credits. We will also be awarding 5 random members (who didn't finish in the top 10) a prize of $0.50 and 1 Game Credit each.
The maximum score for each person you refer is 1, and is broken down as follows:

For example, say you refer your friend named David. If David registers to the site and confirms his account, you receive a score of 0.01 so far for him. If he completes at least 1 non-exclusive/non-PTC offer, you receive 0.60 from him. If he withdraws at least once, you get 0.35 from him. And if he is active on the site for at least 5 days after he registers, you get 0.04, making your overall total score from David a 1. Your score from David as well as all of your other referrals for the month are included in the overall standings as shown on the referral contest page, which is updated automatically every 10 minutes.

Task # 4. Active (active for at least 5 days)- For every member you refer that is active for at least 5 days, you receive a score of 0.04.
The maximum score you can receive per referral is 1.
Referral Contest FAQsQ. Who can participate in the contest?A. All members are allowed to participate.
Q. How do I start participating?A. Go to the
Refer a Member page to obtain your referral link code. We have included the basic link as well as banners and forum code for you to use. If you chat with others or want to include the link in an email, simply use the first link that is shown to you no the page. Please keep in mind that spamming others is not allowed.
Q. If I have purchased an upgrade or do purchase an upgrade, will my referrals count in the contest?A. No they will not. Referrals received from an upgrade will not count in the referral contest whatsoever.
Q. How can I view my detailed referral stats?A. You can click
here to show your full stats for the month. It will list all members you have referred and your score from each referral. We have also included a search box on that page for you to easily find a member.
Q. Why did my Score decrease?A. The only explanation for your score decreasing is because one of the members you referred had their account status change, whether its because of an
On Hold or
Cheater issue, or if they requested to have their account
Deleted. We also make changes to scoring for each task as we see needed.
Q. Why does the contest end on the last day of the month instead of 5 days after the month?A. While it may seem unfair to those members that refer others less than 5 days before the end of the month, extending the contest beyond the last day of each month would simply cause too many issues on the site.
